Our kunzea harvest (Kunzea ambigua) comes from Tasmania’s beautiful East Coast. It grows in the coastal hinterland over the East Coast’s iconic red granite geology that stretches through Tasmania’s most northerly point, the Furneaux islands. Kunzea grows abundantly throughout this area.

We harvest kunzea from a privately owned property in Coles Bay where it grows especially thick. We cut branches using a hedge trimmer and collect them by hand. Kunzea bushes grow back year on year and appear to be invigorated by the hair cut. It is a reliable and sustainable source that appears to us unlimited at our current scale.
